Islamic Scholar and Freelance Translator (Arabic – English and vice versa)
Assalamoalikum;
My name is Mohammad Shoaib. I come from a city named Gorakhpur which is located in the eastern part of Uttar Pradesh, India.
I am a graduate in Islamic Studies from Dar-ul-Uloom Deoband, the great Islamic seminary in India.
Also, I got a Bachelor Degree in Arabic Language from Jamia Millia Islamia University- New Delhi. After graduation, I started my career working as a translator and Interpreter (English – Arabic and vice versa).
I worked in King Saud University and Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for around 10 years and translated hundreds of letters, circulars and documents.
Also, I worked and still working as a freelance translator as I translated tens of academic research papers which got published in peer-reviewed international journals.
As for the knowledge of languages, I can read, write and speak Arabic, English, Urdu and Hindi languages.
Presently, I am working as an educational in-charge in a school, involved in community services, deliver the dars-e-Quran (Lectures on the Holy Quran) in mosques, lectures to reform the Muslim community and give the Friday sermons.
